Η Fraport Greece ενώνει επίσημα τις δυνάμεις της με το Εθνικό Κέντρο Έρευνας και Τεχνολογικής Ανάπτυξης (ΕΚΕΤΑ – CERTH) σε μια πενταετή στρατηγική συνεργασία Έρευνας & Ανάπτυξης (R&D). Η σύμπραξη αυτή παντρεύει την επιχειρησιακή τεχνογνωσία της Fraport στη διαχείριση των 14 περιφερειακών αεροδρομίων με την επιστημονική αιχμή του ΕΚΕΤΑ, θέτοντας τις βάσεις για την επόμενη γενιά «έξυπνων» αεροσταθμών.
Οι 5 Τεχνολογικές Καινοτομίες που Έρχονται
Η εφαρμογή των νέων ψηφιακών λύσεων αναμένεται να αναβαθμίσει τις υποδομές, την ασφάλεια και την ταχύτητα εξυπηρέτησης:
- • Επιθεώρηση υποδομών με Drones: Αυτόματη χαρτογράφηση και συνεχής έλεγχος των διαδρόμων προσγείωσης-απογείωσης και των εγκαταστάσεων.
- • Προληπτική συντήρηση με Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη: Αλγόριθμοι AI που εντοπίζουν πιθανές βλάβες σε κρίσιμο αεροδρομιακό εξοπλισμό πριν προκληθούν καθυστερήσεις.
- • Βελτιστοποίηση ροής επιβατών: Έξυπνα συστήματα παρακολούθησης για τη μείωση του χρόνου αναμονής στους τερματικούς σταθμούς και στους ελέγχους ασφαλείας.
- • Ρομποτικές λύσεις & αυτόνομα Logistics: Χρήση ρομπότ για την καθοδήγηση ταξιδιωτών, τη διαχείριση αποσκευών και την ενίσχυση της φύλαξης.
- • Ψηφιακές εφαρμογές επιβατών: Πλατφόρμες άμεσης ενημέρωσης για πτήσεις και εξατομικευμένη εξυπηρέτηση εντός του terminal.
Τι Σημαίνει η Συμφωνία για την Κεφαλονιά
Για το αεροδρόμιο του νησιού μας, το οποίο υποδέχεται αυξημένο όγκο ταξιδιωτών κατά τη θερινή περίοδο, η ενσωμάτωση αυτών των εργαλείων μεταφράζεται σε:
- Μείωση καθυστερήσεων κατά τις ώρες αιχμής των πτήσεων charter.
- Ταχύτερη διακίνηση αποσκευών με τη συνδρομή αυτοματοποιημένων συστημάτων.
- Αναβαθμισμένη ασφάλεια και άμεση διάγνωση αναγκών συντήρησης στις πίστες και στους διαδρόμους.

The partnership combines Fraport Greece’s operational expertise with CERTH’s research excellence and technological know-how to develop innovative solutions that address the evolving needs of the aviation sector and enhance airport operations.
Leveraging Fraport Greece’s extensive experience in managing Greece’s 14 regional airports and CERTH’s scientific expertise as one of the country’s leading research centres, the partnership will focus on joint Research and Development (R&D) initiatives to develop innovative tools that increase operational efficiency, enhance service quality, and further elevate the passenger experience.
The partnership is expected to deliver a range of innovative advancements and digital solutions, including:
